Double Rainboom was a senior animation school project and pretty much succeeded at being what it was quite well. The problem’s more that the guy was hyping it up to be something it wasn’t.
 
I mean, be realistic. I SINCERELY doubt any of the other films in that program had much in the way of solid narrative content. It’s more of an issue of false advertising.
 
Which is why I think it’d be best if everyone just shut up about it and focused on the real problem:

And you know what? I don’t even think Double Rainboom was that bad. Sure, it took an unexpected route and yes it could’ve been handled better, but I found it more entertaining to watch than Snowdrop and even one of the actual episodes.
