There’s admittedly a lot of criticism for Double Rainboom on /mlp/, but some people do make good points when they criticize it.
Remember not everyone’s gonna like it and just because someone says it was bad (with good reasoning of course) it isn’t necessarily plain, mindless hate.
/mlp/ has really gone overboard in their hate for this video.
I watched Double Rainboom about an hour after it posted, and I enjoyed it. Not perfect by any means, but it was still extremely good, and Zachary Rich & his crew deserve all the props for the year of hard work they into it.
If I was a grader at SCAD, I’d probably give it a B+.
I understand, but my point is, if some people like it, then it’s probably not “all bad.”
(Except in the case of Glee & Jersey Shore.) :P
I admit it wasn’t perfect, it’s not my favorite fan-animation, but it wasn’t an “abomination” either. I just think people need to ease up the “Double Rainboom drama.” It’s taking over this site.
Or maybe it was Dexter’s Lab. My memory is shaky.
People like Glee, and Jersey shore. Popularity is not equal to quality.
And pewdiepie’s one of the most popular channels on youtube, so you can’t really put much stock on youtube feedback.
Agreed, ironically, the “Double Rainboom” video on Youtube has more then twice the amount of “likes” then “dislikes” on it.
FIM is still on and PPG is returning.
If a fan animation ruins a show for you then you have problems.
