Well, actually, it bugs me a little. But to be truthful, perhaps she knows something I don’t and she merely gave me guidance to what would ultimately have been my destiny whether she took the role she did or not.
That’s worst case scenario. Best case scenario, her magic ability would have been wasted. Then again, I’m pretty sure Celestia used her to test all the spells she couldn’t because she was the princess. Twilight was sort of a guinea pig before, and since she’s not the “main” princess like Celestia is, I’m sure it won’t stop.
I suppose the sacrifice of oneself for the cause of many is a noble endeavor, though.
Can you blame her? Without Celestia’s guidance, Twilight’s magical studies would have destroyed Equestria half a dozen times over by now. At least this way she’s in a position to use her powers for good instead of FOR SCIENCE!
There’s actually a story online that focuses on that, she hates her for the rest of there endless lives.
That moment when you realized that the mentor you had trusted your entire life was spying on you, and had her own plans for you, regardless of your intentions, and had been carefully crafting your experiences in order to prepare you for it…what was it like?
Well.. That too. But there’s nothing I can do to change that now.

Wondering if it’ll work like Dragon Ball where a thousand antagonists are brushed effortlessly aside and only a select group of archdemons take more effort to defeat, occasionally to the point of destitution. :3
