You really don’t wanna sit next to her when she has a new game…

She chose the stonesword keys as her starting gift.
Yeah I also respect how Miyazake keeps true to his fanbase on difficult games like this. They truly separate the casual from the hardcore.
I have all the Soulsbourne titles except for maybe one or two of them that came out last year. I’m not very good at any of them but I do have an appreciation for the games.

I’ve heard of those games, but never played them myself. Heard they were just as challenging. Anyway though if you decide to play Elden Ring I hear it’s very fun and still as punishing as the other titles. I don’t know about Sekiro or Bloodbourne, but I hear a lot of similarities are from them and DS3.
I think the Surge titles are pretty good seeing as they tried to do something different with the Soulsbourne formula. Like how you dismember enemies just to aquire loot and gear.
So I’m not a big fan of the souls games or any games from Fromsoft. I’m not a fan of Elden Ring either. I’m more of a souls-inspired fan of games like Code Vein/Nioh 2 because I find those way more fun. In terms of Elden Ring it’s more accessible. It’s only easier for players if you take the time to explore the world and fight optional bosses to get their gear, find more magical spells as a spellcaster class or warrior skills as a warrior, stat application, using helpful spirits in boss fights, etc. There’s more to what I’m saying, but you can make the game harder or easier for yourself depending on your approach to anything in this game because it’s open world now. Too many players run to the first story boss just to die 100 times to him without preparing beforehand.
