I was actually replying to the first comment, but fair enough.
I still think he was being sarcastic in MNFbKD and personally believe The Smooze (G4) was actually a Discord’s creation but then again, it wasn’t really confirmed by the show itself, so never say never I guess…

Well I came up with the story before that episode came out so I didn’t have as much to go off of with Discord at the time. I’ve had to rewrite a few things and find ways to work with canon without changing too much. Also, don’t forget Discord told Fluttershy that he actually did have some friends since he’s “centuries old” in “Make New Friends but Keep Dicord”. Yeah, it’s confusing.

I doubt they were childhood friends, since Discord said that he never had friends in Keep Calm and Flutter On.
But you’re right, I’d have loved to see a backstory about those three…

Artist here: I actually have a fanfic where they are all younger, but they aren’t all this age at the same time. While Luna is a filly, Celestia is a young adult and Discord (who is called Accord in his younger days) has been around for centuries and his head looks the same as it does when he’s a draconequus but with an alicorn horn instead. In this picture, Cozy Glow has turned them into kids to torment them as revenge for turning her into stone.
