I think the best thing about Snowdrop is that she could have just whined about how her life is unfair and want a sight.

But she decided to use what she always had to encourage others to appreciate the forgotten.

Snowdrop is like Scootaloo. They hated their unfair circumstances but from a wise guide they were able to find a solution to their problems.

To me Snowdrop isn’t about feeling sad for her, it’s about keeping on going despite the obstacles in your way. Something I have to learn.

I watched the video and cried the first time. Then I watched it again, and I cried again. I loved it. The animation, the story, the music, the voice acting… I can’t say enough about this video.

Luna saying goodbye to Snowdrop after a thousand years and letting go of the very same snowflake she presented to her and Celestia. (Sniff).

Enjoyed character that created my feels.

Didn’t like this OC at first because I thought the creator was just trying to make her eyes look special when really they just make her look blind. Then I found out she IS blind and now I feel like a presumptuous ass…

I thought that fanvid was one part sad, one part heartwarming and one part bittersweet. Sad because, it gives us a good idea how hard it is to be disabled. I knew a guy in a highschool I went to who was pretty much blind and had to rely on a seeing-eye dog. Heartwarming because it shows us even when the odds are against us, we can still do great things. Bittersweet because, Luna finally found a friend who thought the winter nights could bring good things and she will never see her again after her banishment. Also, I flat-out cried when she had to get rid of the snowflake she presented to her at the Spring Festival as part of the snow fall.

sorry, its just me, I get my scales all riled up when I read something like that, I know plenty of ppl that have busted ass to prove themselves just to be looked over cause someone “can do, or did better”

I just watched this fanmade vid not to long ago, I couldn’t hold the liquid pride in, they rolled in a manly way, felt sad for Luna in the end though, finally made one friend, who understood how she felt, only to loose that friend during her 1000 year imprisonment on the moon

I am very unfamiliar with booru’s, so I made a v2 which only fixes the little error I spotted, hosted on imgur. I can fix any more should you find them but for image quality this is as far as I can get atm.

Mmm… I didn’t like her. I’ve seen her character way too often.
 
Some poor kid with a disability (her’s being blind), is constantly picked on and is an outcast. They’re always sad and mopey, but then they do something that gets the attention of someone important.
