Watched the movie yesterday. Didn’t really liked it…
I hope that Sprout will have more attention and be part of the group… If there will be more series. He’s not a bad guy. Also my fav character.
There are mane 6 not 5, also Hitch alone with 4 girls… Not really right if you ask me. So there needs to be Sprout too.
And that ending sucks… They didn’t give him any chances for apologies. Hitch and Sunny are his best friends after all.

That’s fine. That’s your opinion. I have a lot of friends. They’re vulgar, loud, rude, pick fights and are constantly in a bad mood. But I stay friends with them because I grew up with them and I know there’s more to them than the shallow adjectives I used to describe them.
Sometimes that’s what a friend is. Even though they annoy you, you still associate yourself with them.

I think Sunny and Sprout not being friends as adults is kind of over exaggerated. Don’t forget that Sunny causes trouble every year at Canterlogic’s presentation. Its literally Sprout and Hitch’s job to keep her out. Hitch gives Sunny some kind of special treatment every year for some teason but Sprout does not.

When put from an objective perspective, Hitch comes out as a corrupt cop while Sprout, again, is simply doing his job.
If there was no Canterlogic event, if Sprout was just buying a smoothie from Sunny’s stand, I believe they would just be friends.

I wouldn’t classify them as his “best friends” at all. Hitch as a childhood friend, sure, sunny was more like someone that was around and tolerated. Kids that age play like with everyone, even those they technically don’t like as much. With the later adult life, i see no friendship between either (especially not sunny).
