No. They posted children who appear in the future.
Yeah you’re right, I don’t wanna get things too off topic here. And honestly I don’t have much else to say.
Because that’s how they were raised most likely. Might be a topic for a forum, though.
I look at people who hate their significant others and I’m here thinking “why do you do this to yourself?”
Didn’t the sketchbook do that too?
Maybe that says alot about how writers view their own marriage.
I’m not terribly bothered when a story ends with a wedding. What bothers me more is when a story treats marriage as a ball and chain for the man, perpetuating the thought of it being the end rather than a new beginning. This may just be me speaking as a married man and as someone who saw stepdads not pull their weight though.
Pregnancy? Raising a child? The same exact plot lines the show used for Shining Armor and Cadance?
That’s called poor writing. Things still happen to couples after marriage. To act otherwise is foolish and short-sighted.
I meant entertainment wise. 2 characters getting married in a romance would be considered the climax. After that would be no endpoint, nowhere for the story to go. Nothing that could happen in their relationship could ever reach that high again and would just be an infinite, rudderless meandering, so what is there for us, the viewer?
Edited
A lot if you don’t have marriage being the endpoint or start of someone’s life.
They said it probably is dead. But I mean, Luna and Twilight got married, so I’m not sure how much more can be done with this story.
Naught the Whammy! D:
She hasn’t seen her Whammy for hours.
