Wasn’t it, like, only 4 years ago?

My God, are people seriously STILL bitching about this 10 years later? Get the fuck over it already!

Not only that, but the fact that the Earth/Unicorn/Pegasus ponies separating and not getting along had always caused the Windigos appear to turn Equestria onto a frozen wasteland, but no hint of any of that with G5, Sunny’s das just dying during the timeskip from Sunny going from a Filly to her normal age, why not just Twilight, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and even Flurry Heart, Spike, and Discord are AWOL, and all the races other than Earth Ponies, Unicorns, Pegasi, and Alicorns are missing (Changelings, Kirins, Yaks, Gryffons, Hippogriffs, etc.), why Earth Ponies somehow went from having their strength and connection to the land coming from their magic suddenly went from that to “they never had magic AT ALL”.
The funniest part is that fanfics would be more canon than G5.

That’s what a lot of us in the fandom are asking about what the heck went wrong between G4 and G5.
Was Twilight Sparkle defeated by a unstoppable bad guy?
Did Twilight Sparkle hid in the snowy mountains after her magic was depleted?
Did Twilight Sparkle commit suicide after she ended up in a massive state of depression after her friends and family died?

We’ll probably never know, but, that’s what fanfiction is for!
