I recon she and Vinyl have been going at it like rabbits in anticipation for their offpspring.
I think they need meat, because ponies are similar to humans in terms of how the body works.They need proteins.Ponies get them from milk, eggs, etc. But this may not be enough. Why don’t they get proteins from meat?
Diogenus showed a similar point of view in the book “Обретеная Эквестрия”.
Ergobor in the book “Первопроходец” talked that ponies need proteins.
