It’s definitely on the friendly end of the prank spectrum. Like, Trixie probably would have done something really mean like plastic-wrap the toilet seat or smeared icy-hot on Twiggy’s throne if she wanted just playing around and genuinely congratulating her for a job well done XD

Only if Dashie’s actions debatably are, like when she nuked the Weather Factory for a giggle. Like, her describing Dashie in Mysterious Mare Do Well would have been “Wonderbolt Wannabe takes advantage of crumbling infrastructure to sell herself a hero”, Wonderbolts Academy would be “Promising Wonderbolt recruit fired after Vain Six trespass in live training zone”, and Non-Compete Clause would be “Students in peril! Teachers endangering the lives of students for petty award.” No matter what, she always paints the Mane Six as negatively as humanly possible by just BARELY staying within “technically true”, but she’s prides herself on having never actually lied. She’d say “I don’t have the imagination to come up with stuff worse than the crap they actually pull!” XD

She’d just turn that into a big bit about how the government was using legal threats to try and coerce the news into not reporting on “systemic corruption” to protect their cronies. She already had a field day with how “the Mane Six broke up the strikes of underpaid laborers attempting to unionize” XD

No one really knows. She’s sort of like J. Jonah Jameson, she just has it in for them. She never lies, but she always words things as negatively as possible for them, and as positively as possible for their enemies. Like, when Applejack saved her farm from the Flim Flam Brothers, the newspony’s headline was “Fair competition crushed under Apple Family’s oppressive cider monopoly” XD
