Kinda weird for him to build a mech of his own Mom. I know its her company where he got his resources…but this is Sprout literally being inside his own mom.
I guess that in earlier versions of the script she was much more controlling.

Since the Beginning -

I can see three possible reasons why this was cut.
  1. They originally wanted Phyllis to be the big bad, but ultimately voted against it in the end.
  2. Maybe… budget cuts?
  3. This is the absolute DEEPEST that Sprout’s mommy issues will ever go. Bar. None.
Either way, this is kind of horrific.
