Take your impressions of the movie, cut them into fifths, and gnaw on one of those pieces. That should be your rough expectation for the actual series.
I need a stronger metaphor than “preaching to the choir”. There was a cynical undertone to my comment that was meant to be read as objectively neutral.

If you mean the trailers and the book leaks, those outline the basic plot, but not a lot of more specific details. I mean, that book even leaves out known spoilers from the merchandise.

I mean, most of that is just stuff that she has.
There’s several things that indicate that possibility- mark on her bag and on her book in this clip, the big banner in her living room, her dad’s medallion and cutie mark, the colors of her dad’s mane streaks under the light of the night light, the fact that her own mane is subtly two-toned and those colors are present in the middle of Twilight’s mane streak
