On the Apples side, the family is quite consecutive and takes up quite a lot of space. Although we can go back further than Granny Smith, it is better to set a limit, so as not to get lost.
1) Granny Smith and Apples Snack
In the Apple family, Granny Smith is the great leader of the farm and was once married to Apples Snack, a family-values stallion and loving father. Together they had only one son, Bright Mac, who had the perfect build to work in the fields. While the stallions were working, Granny Smith and her sister Goldie Delicious prepared the famous jams, as well as the recipe for the delicious cider that later gave the Apple family its reputation. Unfortunately, during a terrible storm, Apples Snack and Bright Mac tried to return to the farm on time, with the few apples they had managed to take away. However, a light fell on an apple tree that fell on the poor father. Bright Mac finally came home alone, thinking about how to tell his mother that his father was not following him. This death was terrible for Granny Smith, who remained faithful to her only husband.
2) Cinnamon Pear and Grand pear
On the Pear side, Grand Pear managed the farm with an iron hoof and had been married to Cinnamon Pear out of interest. Although this marriage was not intended at first, the two ponies eventually accepted reality and from this union were born two children: Cornice Pear and Pear Butter. Unfortunately, quarrel with the Apples took all the discussions of the family and made each member unhappy. After his sister went to the competition, Cornice Pear left the family to join Greenhoof Hooffield, living in community with his only daughter, Louise. Having lost her two children, Cinnamon Pear died of an illness nicknamed “the broken heart” and never forgiven her husband for destroying the family with these ridiculous arguments.
3) Bright Mac and Pear Butter
Bright Mac and Pear Butter had love at first sight from their sweetest childhood. After leaving her Pear family, the new member of the Apples gave birth very quickly to a colt, whom she named Big McIntosh. It was a bright red colour, reminiscent of the ripe apples that could be seen on apple trees during the harvest season. Bright Mac liked to learn the ropes of the trade from his son, who had inherited his magnificent build. Some time later, Pear Butter gave birth to a filly this time, who was named Applejack. She had inherited her mother’s hair, which forced her to attach her mane in the form of two duvets. This young mare had inherited the strength of her father, as well as her hat when she started working on the farm. Finally, a few years later, Pear Butter gave birth to a third filly, named Apple blossom. Unfortunately, she knew her parents only for a brief moment, for they eventually disappeared in the Everfree forest next to the farm. From that day on, Granny Smith brought up these children, with the pain of losing his.
4) Night Light and Twilight Velvet
Night Light was one of the students of Princess Celestia’s magic school. Coming from a wealthy family, he lived comfortably in the residence of the castle and often saw pass the young unicorn Twilight Velvet, daughter of the script of the great princess, to whom fate had not allowed to succeed the entrance examinations of the school of magic. Night Light could not help but admire her from the window of his room and kept telling his comrades: “When I graduated, I would marry this mare !”. Of course they laughed, but Night Light was convinced, his dream would come true. The young stallion finished his years brilliantly and on the day of the graduation, he entered the room of the castle where Twilight Velvet was, kneeling and asked him for her hoof. Obviously, she did not know who this pony was and did not accept, after many meetings, in order to know him better. Shortly after the marriage, the young couple gave birth to a strong foal like everything else, which they named Shining Armor. From an early age, he dreamed of entering the royal guard, in order to protect the ponies living in Equestria. But it was when he saw his little sister Twilight Sparkle, that he understood that it was his duty to protect her! Many years later, when Twilight introduced young Spike to the family, he was immediately accepted and treated as a total member of the family. However, as they grew older, and after having had a little daughter, Alicorne, Twilight Velvet and Night Light could not help comparing each of their grandchildren, thus creating many tensions towards them, and favouritism towards the only “true” princess of them !
5) Big Mac and Sugar Belle
After their magnificent marriage, Big Mac and Sugar Belle gave birth to a unicorn which was an excellent mixture of their two colors. They named this beautiful filly “Crumble Delicious” and loved her with all their hearts. Despite the clogs she had inherited from her father, the young mare was much better at baking than at working on the farm. Loving family traditions, Crumble Delicious appreciates her cousins, but has a hard time getting along with those who do not value family values. She especially likes her little brother Berry Apple Pie, who spends all his time working on the farm or playing with Lustre, their cousin. Berry enjoys chandelier and especially his friend Gabin, whom he considered his best friend for many years.
6) Applebloom and Rumble
After returning from the Wonderbolts’ new recruit training camp, Rumble wanted to revisit his small school, which was now run by the young Twist, who worked part-time at Sugarcube Corner. After seeing the old building again, the young Pegasus was filled with nostalgia and wanted to see the CMC that he had so much trouble with at the time. He began with Applebloom, for he knew that the Apple farm was not far away. But when he got there, he was surprised to learn that she was working as a teacher at Princess Twilight’s school of friendship. Curious, Rumble finally fell upon the farmer, who was so gentle with the young students of the school. Of course, the young pegasus was old enough to discover the love at first sight and remained frozen on the spot, the hooves shaking. Applebloom finally noticed him and came to him, happy to see him again. After many minutes of discussion, Rumble ends up inviting the young earthly girl, to an appointment, in order to make up for lost time. A few months later, Rumble returned to live with Applebloom in Ponyville. Together they had two foals: Candy Apple, a young pegasus with vertigo and Thunder Strudel, a young earthling whose dream was to fly.
7) Applejack and Twilight Sparkle
After an excellent friendship, Twilight and Applejack wanted a more than friendly relationship and a wedding was announced. From this marriage was first born Lustre Elstar, a young unicorn who always preferred the farm to magic. Unlike his younger brother Jonagold, who had an unhealthy fascination with magic. Unfortunately, Twilight was more often in Canterlot on royal business, which angered Applejack, who ended up getting divorced, learning of the princess’s infidelity with Starlight Glimmer. However, their relationship remained good, although lustre remained living on the farm, while Jonagold went to the castle.
8) Shining Armor and Cadance
Shining Armor and Cadance were happy during the first years of their marriage, especially with the arrival of their daughter, Flurry Heart. Unfortunately, as time passed, Shining Armor began to look to the new recruits of the Royal Guard to spice up his monotonous life as a prince.
9) Spike and Holy Dash
After abandoning the idea of marrying Rarity, Spike began his adult life as a friendship ambassador and traveled through Equestria. Still attracted to the ponies, however, he fell in love with a unicorn named Holy Dash. After a short relationship, Spike had to leave for his royal obligations, leaving Holly Dash alone, with their daughter: Mariguette. Of course, she lacked nothing, and Spike visited her very regularly, having kept a good relationship with her mother.
