The festival was held on Christmas Day. My manager doesn’t know what he’s writing…. :(
I drew this work for the festival. My manager didn’t ask me about the name of the art. Sorry
Christmas in russia is not celebrated on the same grand scale as the new year. The description says that this is exactly the new year. The question remains, why exactly on January 7?
In Russia, the date format is DD-MM-YYYY
If this was YY-MM-DD, I could say “2007 January 21? I must have missed the significance of this date!”
EDIT:
I see there’s an Orthodox New Year’s on January 14, but Orthodox Christmas appears to fall on January 7.
It’s always possible that they’re celebrating International Programmer’s Day, since that falls on a Jan 7th ;)
