I believe the accepted headcanon for the last one is her invite was the letter destroyed in Dragon Quest.
If she is Starlight’s real mother? Then Rares and Glimmy would’ve been related.

The backstory of nearly every character in MLP was pretty much glossed over. We never learned how Applejack and Rarity met. Rainbow Dash moved to Ponyville instead of going straight to the Wonderbolts because… Fluttershy? And the whole “why didn’t Twilight mentioned Shining Armor before his wedding?” has been beaten to death.
