I was talking more about “god, we know Princess Eris don’t have the best design… but at least she looks more different that those parents of Discord” Not so much about if the comics are canon or not, because Pony Life is another universe but it’s official like the IDW comics and the manga volumes.
 
But because i don’t know polish, i don’t know if that was just a joke or actually those 2 are his parents.

I think the IDW comics can be safely ignored, no matter if it does decide to stamp season 10 on itself in desperation, especially since it’s trying to shove its own canon into the show’s no matter how much it contradicts it like has been doing for at least—what?—10 years now?
