Modular is a character style and/or fetish, in which characters can safely remove and reattach limbs or parts of themselves. See the modular tag for examples. In this case, it is implied because Discord says he can remove his wing, but the image does not depict it.
The wings can be removed or reattached like panels in a Kia Soul.
This cuteness is now featured two years later :)
