True, the characters had potential for growth and development, though I felt that some of their designs were kind of gaudy. But like I said before Hasbro’s only focus is profit, Equestria Girls only real purpose was to compete with Mattel’s Monster High toyline. Once that line had ended Hasbro had no further need to compete thus them pulling the plug a couple of years later. As for Tara Strong’s post? Well it’s a little known fact that she enjoys trolling her audience from time to time. Like how she dropped a hint about Teen Titans returning and instead it was Teen Titans Go ( which I like because it’s funny ) . But people need to look at the facts first before taking someones word.

It had some good elements, Sunset Shimmer and the Dazzlings for example. The Shadowbolts had potential too, but it’s a shame they never went far.

Come on, let Equestria Girls rest in fucking peace!

Another thing that people need to keep in mind, is that massive conglomerates like Hasbro are only concerned about one thing and thats making money. If they feel that one of their ip’s ( intellectual properties) aren’t producing revenue anymore, then they won’t hesitate on pulling the plug on a project and the last I heard they’ve been on a steady decline in the stock market for the last decade so don’t believe in all the hype you hear.

I didn’t think Equestria Girls was really that good to be honest.

When the “Save Equestria Girls” cult finally gives it a rest and moves on to something more productive, I swear there will be dancing in the streets.

Number 1, not three years yet. Number 2, its dead. The writing team has been broken up, one of the writers went on a crazy Twitter tirade about it that might mean she’ll never work with Hasbro again considering their public image concerns… just give up. Keep it alive in your heart and move the fuck on.

Delusion boy said it right there ‘waiting three years’ it doesn’t take that long to produce every EQG film and short that ever aired. So if nothing has happened yet, it won’t.

Tara Strong is not Hasbro. Stop acting like this means anything. Unless Boulder Media somehow tells us that they’re making a new EG series, let this go, please?
