Description
Illustration from chapter thirty five of ’Expedition to the Cloudbreak Islands ‘, based on an online RP. The ponies fly to the Temple of the Four Winds, hoping to meet the native griffons and find another ally in this dangerous new land. They will get more than they bargained for, finding the Kaosians attempting to forcibly convert the griffons to their cause. The unicorn Azure Feather will find her true calling, undertaking the four trials in the hope of becoming an alicorn and realising her life’s dream: to truly fly as pegasi do.

We are cheating a bit by using Skylands, but to be fair this is set 200 years after the games with all new locations and characters (except for the dragons). Also trying to make a consistent setting out of all six games + spinoffs which is nontrivial. :)
