Description
A young Chrome Thunder stands just outside his new clubhouse.
This art is based on real life events.
Like all kids, I wanted a clubhouse back in the day (the 80’s). My family was by no means rich though so it never happened, but I did get something to make do.
In 1984 my family got a new Zenith console TV to replace the Quasar one that recently croaked. It came in a huge box and either me or my mom got the idea of turning it into an indoor clubhouse. 2 windows and a door later and it was done, though a short time later some red and brick pattern contact paper was added to make it look better. It lasted until around 1990.
