I was reluctant to try Minecraft myself, but loved after playing it.
It’s kinda silly to hate a game, just because it’s popular in hindsight really.
I initially didn’t want Steve because of the Grotesque Steve meme posts, but I eventually warmed up to him. Heck, it even made me want to give Minecraft a try.
Indeed, and frankly I’ll even accept a WTF obscure character like Mach Rider.
Let’s not forget not every popular character was a popular fan request. Nobody requested the Ice Climbers, Mr. G&W, ROB, and many others, and they’re quite beloved in SSB now.
So I wish SSB fans would be more open minded. SSB got me into many games I previously never played.

Me too. But I know one person who I talk to on Discord is possibly going to bitch regardless. He never wanted Steve because he hates Minecraft. The guy needs to learn that Smash Bros isn’t all about his preferences as much as we hate to admit.
I’m fine with anybody really. We’re gonna get drama regardless.
Can’t wait for the final character.
Seeing as most of the DLC Fighter’s Pass characters are “human,” (Except Banjo, and some of the Steve alt costumes.) I would kinda prefer a non-human character like Rayman, or something.

Awesome. I enjoy Sephiroth’s fighting style as well.
As someone who has played a lot of Smash Ultimate and watched a literal block man defeat a powerful being such as Sephiroth multiple times with a cart and crafting abilities…I can confirm that.

Given that I have Tirek as a boss in my imaginary MLP & SSB crossover, this is accurate. (As long as Sephiroth is equipped with strong enough Spirits too.)
