I think what he meant by backwards was by page order. *1, 2, 3, 4… These were uploaded starting from 8 and down, which is odd to do on a booru.
It’s not backwards, it’s manga. Japanese style comics.
Traditional Japanese script is written top-to-bottom, right-to-left. The translations are arranged right-to-left as well because doing it any other way borks the page layouts.
