This perfectly sums up the fandom’s mindset, thank you.

I love this. I adore Faust; if for no other reason, she’s married to a childhood hero, so she must be amazing (yes, Craig McCracken is one of my childhood heroes). I think she contributed wonderful things, and it wouldn’t have happened without her. But, she is not the only person who made the show great. In fact, it couldn’t have been great without so many other talented people. Most of those other talented people still work on the show, and new talented people are joining.

Even the staffers agree that FIM would be nowhere without Faust’s vision. It was her version of the show that got me hooked, so I think it’s perfectly fair to be annoyed when it strays from that.

The other writers though do deserve a lot more credit.

She only wrote the first two episodes and supervised seasons 1 and 2.
 
The show still has great writers.

Freaking THIS. I mean I love what Faust did as much as the next guy, but I’m so sick of people treating her like some infallible deity, and that it’s some kind of sacrilege to ever do something that she might not have thought of.

Or, and bare with me here, you should totally just draw your own conclusions based on precedent and your own understanding.
 
You should like or dislike things and be able to talk about why without being pigeonholed into bullshit pablum like this.
