Sonic isn’t the type of character to get depressed. If anything that’s highly out of character for him.
 
I really doubt you can hire an assassin in jail. Unless it was one of the inmates which I think it’s impossible for them to have a sniper on them. At the same time, I think alot of people underestimates Sonic’s true speed. The dude has actually reach up to lightspeeds before. However, if the bullet were to hit Sonic, it most likely wouldn’t do much. This Blue Bastard survived worse things from his own arch-nemesis. Not to mention the fact this guy has beat gods that level cities and sometimes the entire planet. So, unless the gun you’re mentioning will do the trick on that, it will most likely just give Sonic a mild headache at worse.
 
Don’t know much about guns, but it’s always interesting learning about them. lol

If any and all options were on the table of killing sonic, an assassin could simply use a sniper rifle chambered in .308. A round that travels faster than the speed of sound when the trigger is pulled. If Sonic is lucky, it will send a chill down his spine. And if he’s not… He will never hear the shot.
