Description
Magical oviraptorosaurs chat about magic stuff. Inspired by the recent description of Oksoko, an oviraptorid known from numerous well-preserved specimens, including at least three individuals huddled together.
We have multiple specimens of oviraptorosaurs preserved in brooding positions on top of nests, so the most likely conclusion is that the Oviraptor was protecting it’s own eggs from some kind of weather rather than trying to kill another Oviraptor’s eggs.

Now I’m picturing a T-Rex huddled over her nest like a broody old hen.
For all we know their second conclusion is completely wrong as well - it’s at best an educated guess, not a fact. Might have been a completely different Oviraptor to the one that laid the egg and it didn’t mind a bit of egg cannabilism, for example.
My analysis is that they either went and judged a book by it’s cover, they jumped the gun or they did both.
