She is the most contradictive character ever, despite having the most generic behaviour as a pony in normal situations, wich is why she wasn’t very liked until season 2, where her acting was way over the edge =D

That’s what makes Rarity a hilarious character. She tries her damndest to come off as this delicate, gentle flower (And in all fairness, she is most of the time.) That still doesn’t change that she is tough as nails when she has to be, as well as greedy and selfish as well.

Yeah… I actually became a bit more interested in all the characters after well.. the ‘girliest’ pony did a jumping back kick into a Manticore’s face.

Y’now, despise being the “lady” character, Rarity sure gets a lot of asskicking moments.  
I mean, This, Return of Harmony and A Canterlot Wedding all show her brandishing some sort of physical prowess, which makes me wonder if she’s versed on some sort of martial arts or something.
