I think $8 per character seems fair for a sketch like this. The real question is how long does it take you to do the sketch? Make sure it’s worth it to be doing them at that rate. You could also do a base price and then a smaller amount for additional characters, to cover time spent setting up the commission. So for example, $10 for a colored sketch and $6-8 per additional character. It looks like a better deal even if it ends up not being that far off, since people rarely order more than 2 characters at once, and it makes your 1-character pics more worthwhile in the end.
