I’m also reminded of a Dexter’s Lab episode where he’s crawling through an air vent, before the janitor turns up the heat and Dexter’s lab coat and shoes burn away. To be honest, it’d take me ten years before I was aware what it was referencing, lol.
Soooo apparently #4 “Cute-Pocalypse Meow” & #5 “Bad Thing No. 3” I really like the Pocalypse one, why would they skip that???!!…
Nope, just not good at being a mom.
Is her sister dead? X3
Tell me about it, my mom actually lets her nephew watch Blacklist.
I think it comes under dangerous situations mixed with possible innuendo. Considering tiny pop is aimed at very young kids I feel they picked the wrong channel for it.
I guess they consider the chain imitatable or something?
Its actually cut because of censorship as everyother episode aired (they didnt air episodes 4 and 5 for the same reason I expect) is running at the correct time.
Because we were talking about ratings, and stuff, and violence is a key factor in determining that.
Also, to quote Leo, “No, Splinter took out the Shredder!” Though, it was actually Casey Jones, considering he activated the garbage truck compactor. “Oops!”
And in the first TMNT movie the heroes kill the villain.
I don’t know why you’re focusing so much on blood and violence either. The entire Lord of the Ring trilogy featured live action decapitation, torture, monster birthing, cannibalism and blood soaked heroes. And it got a PG-13 rating.
Depends on what it is, but despite being animated “Batman VS TMNT” doesn’t pull punches with it’s PG-13 rating, It actually features things like blood, villains actually killing people, a semi-obscured decapitation, gruesome/scary mutation animations, Donatello’s arm getting broken, and limp, a villain possibly getting killed, and other things.
So I still say it’s the most violent TMNT movie.
Still, it doesn’t come off as “grimderp,” like some recent DC movies, and balances the corny humor, and edginess pretty well.
Thats not saying much. The standards for live action violence is vastly different from animated violence.
Some channels just make cuts for more commercials.
Was it specificly content related or was it just cut for time? Since this scene seems to be nonsense it’d make sense to cut. I know in the past Power Rangers had some odd cuts for time in the UK.
For the love of God.
Almost as stupid as when the channel banned entire episode because it had cider in it
Edited
The “Batman VS TMNT” (which is awesome BTW) animated crossover movie is PG-13 too, and is probably the most violent TMNT movie ever made technically. It has a surprising ammount of blood in it too.
(Not that violence matters, but I’m kinda glad they didn’t “wuss” the movie down like the ‘90s TMNT movie sequels. Which happened because, parents groups, and puritans complained was “too dark/violent for kids,” but didn’t have one drop of blood in it. The later ‘90s Batman sequels also went down a similar, “make it more corny/kid friendly route,” which ironically didn’t please adults, or kids.)
That’s why I said “may”. X3
No one knows wtf today’s youth give a shit about. Today’s youth have literally been blamed for killing the napkin industry. For all anyone knows, today’s youth could give a shit about the War of the Roses.
@Beau Skunky
Its PG-13, but its 2020. I’d give you a Youtube link but I’m never clear on Derpi rules so just look up ’ Batman Kills Himself ’
@Background Pony #8C63
Isn’t that PG though? In fact, many DC Animated movies are actually PG, PG-13, and a few like “The Killing Joke” was R.
I must add, these comic book “Alternative universes” are weird.
