I’ve noticed this too. The OOC ways some of them are written is kind of hidden under a veneer of sickly sweetness.
That being said I kind of enjoy the comic, but do find some of the interactions weird because of it.
I think the artist just hates Pinkie, maybe he just dislikes Pinkie in the series and shows her as he sees her in his comics
I mean, he removed Pinkie’s role in being a girl who wants to see everyone happy, gave it to Lyra and turned Pinkie into a social misfit that no one can take.
Then he makes others despise Pinkie in some way even though she supposedly learned to be more “normal”
For example in this same comic with Mrs. Cake saying something despicable about Pinkie behind her and Twilight about to insult her.
I also really like adorkable Twilight, but I don’t like Twilight’s lack of connection with her friends and her obvious contempt for pinkie
