The thing is with Discord is that he trys to help in his own chaotic ways and ultimately is trying to be a better friend and has gotten better at ways, learning to value love ask to be included, he has also been heroic twice in the series such as joining the mission to save the mane 6 and royal family and then in the finale after coming to realize his grave misjudgment risked his life to deflect a beam that could have killed him to free starlight so she could free the other prisoners.

Let’s be honest, Discord; all you have done is pull pranks on your friends either for your own interests or to teach them unnecessary lessons.
 
Threatening to toss Tree Hugger into another realm? Selfish. Betraying your friends to Tirek just for chaos? Selfish. Just what exactly was the point of them finding a cure that you didn’t even need? Dangerous and risky, especially to lose two Princesses.
 
While you had good intentions with these last two, it still doesn’t excuse you for the end result; leaving Twilight Sparkle out of her friends fun just to teach her some lesson of getting over things? Personal assault on someone who did nothing to you.
 
Teaching them the SAME lesson about standing up for themselves by uniting a legion of doom to rampage Equestria?!

Discord, you are nothing but trouble and a threat to Equestria just by being there. What’s worse is that even though the two royal princesses do nothing, at least their excuse is making sure the Equestrian government doesn’t fall apart on itself. What’s yours? Are you just bored?
 
If you truly want chaos but want to be the good guy then direct your selfishness on the villains and leave your so called friends you’ve made out of it you absolute scum bag!
