Luna’s been stuck on the moon for a 1000 years
Well even if she was “one” with the moon, she was probably conscious since Nightmare Moon was clearly aware that she was stuck up there for about a 1000 years and knew about the prophecy of her return somehow.
Unless during these thousand years she has become one with the moon and thus has not seen it.:P
If I recall correctly, it’s based off the fact that the most (or all?) America astronauts who have been on the moon were born in Ohio.
(May be confusing this with US presidents)
