What has been said indicating that anyone thinks Dash and Rarity aren’t friends? All that’s been mentioned is that this makes it look like she’s drawing an emotional Dash from a somewhat scared looking kid.

^It doesn’t. Who said she was angry, or why would she be? I think she’s just trying to be subtle by calmly stopping RD back from making a big scene.

Is it me, or do a lot of you go out your way to paint rarity and dash as if they aren’t friends? Because that’s just outright wrong

^She probably didn’t want to traumatize that poor foal any further by being aggressive and making a big scene. Rarity knows her subtlety.
