only OC changeling are still black and evil, when in the cannon story, only chrysalis a not be reform but rest all be reform one by one, why? by the fact all want a better live, chrysalis treat them like shit, one mistake and be kill( in the idw chrysalis a kill one chrysalis by throw him in a volcano and the TV show, she want to kill thorax by take all the love in him but slower and very painful and we all the changeling be scare by see this, and some fan still believe she care for her changeling like a mother, no she use them and treat them as tool and will kill them if he or she fail to do their job and worst if be rebel like thorax a done, plus chrysalis a never fixe the changeling problem, foods changeling can feed on normal but still need love energy and by this all will still hungry, a hunger who will never be full, this is not a live, the reform changeling dont have this problem, all them can gain love from friends( not by force like before) but a not need it to survive, and can eat normal food, hey you could eat side by side with them and eat a ice cream and you a no worry he or she try take love from you, plus those reform changeling are more calm and more friendly but the none reform can lose their cool and be very angry by the fact he or she a not gain love and be very hungry!

Going colorbug solved the eternal void hunger and let them subsist off of regular food AND avoided the need to even infiltrate and leech in the first place. It’s really a no brainer.
