Actually I take back my comment. The background ponies in this thread seem to like Pony Life more than the verified members. Maybe it’s just my music taste that background ponies hate. Mm.

It’s not that good, either. I’ll give it some time to find its feet, but so far I can’t manage to be anything but neutral on it.

…That doesn’t make sense. That’s like saying if you order something at a restaurant and don’t like it, but order something else and like that one, you should have liked them both because they were cooked in the same kitchen.

The first episode had me confused. I have no idea what was going on. The second episode however, did get a laugh out of me.

It’s a quite adorable series! And once again I’ll remember: G5 is being produced in the same studio as Pony Life and probably will have some staff members in common. If you guys hate PL and end up praising something on G5, I probably will call you out!

My thoughts exactly, it has potential to be an alright encore to FiM, nothing more nothing less. Also the character designs are cute af and the theme song is a bop.

I wonder if FIM had this much hate when it came out. Seriously? Colourful horses who think they are Power Rangers? Rip off Captain Planet? Were there boomer moms worried the scary villains would scar their precious lil daughters?

You’re right. It’s worse.

I’d say it’s more confusing than anything else. What is with the potions? In the first episode they don’t seem to do anything. In the second it might imply they are the source of the ponies’ personalities and bodies which is pretty disturbing on several levels.

Here before people are willing to go to each other necks.
 
Pony Life isn’t as good as Friendship is Magic, but so what? What good is it to hate and hate every day? Why do people do that? Just to make others suffer too? To force others to hate it? Is that how you want to remember ponies? You don’t like it, don’t see it, and flipping don’t keep talking how terrible it is every single opportunity you have. That won’t do ANYTHING good.
 
There are still people who want to remember the good days ponies have.
