From rumors alone, Derpibooru has a pretty average shipping community but it is also well known for having one of the most rude and toxic and bullying anti-shipping communities ever seen. And I’ve been on this site for a very long time, and those rumors seem pretty accurate.
 
So, yeah, I really can’t even imagine caring about your complaints. Even if you personally haven’t participated in the toxic behavior of your fellows, your complaints have pretty much been emptied of all sympathy on this site. It’s not your fault but, meh, that’s just how it is.

The issue with Rarijack was there was a bit of an issue with the barrier between being teased and being confirmed.
 
Ship teases were all over the place in MLP, but most of them were mundane chemistry. The fandom episode, on the other hand, had Lyra and Bon Bon actively demonstrate every romantic cliche imaginable sans an out loud romantic confession….only to 100% confirm Lyra proposed and they got married in the final episodes.
 
Most of Rarijack stuff in the past was just like I described before, innocent teasing and chemistry….until the Rollercoaster of friendship came along and did exactly what Lyra and Bon Bon did earlier, add every single romantic cliche under the sun sans an out loud romantic confession.
 
The only difference? The cliches used by Bon Bon and Lyra were taken from romance fiction and romantic comedies where the characters are already aware they love each other. But Rollercoaster of Friendship? All the cliches used in that episode were taken from romance fiction and romantic comedies where the two leads are unaware/in denial that they love each other.
 
So did RollerCoaster of Friendship confirm Rarijack? No. Technically. As they do not actually get together in the end. But a lot of people grew up on the tropes used to signify growing romantic interest, and Rollercoaster of Friendship was as subtle as a brick. It did not leave much to the imagination.
 
You cant blame people for being genre savvy and seeing what the writers want the audiance to see. That’s just basic storytelling. If you cant understand the conceptual difference in the situation, that’s your failing, not the rest of fandom.
 
There is no harm in saying it was confirmed, because it sort of was and it sort of wasn’t. The writers were pretty vocal about it, so its not like there was much room for doubt.

It didn’t really help that some of the staff ship it and decided to tease it. which is fine but the fandom can’t tell the difference between something being teased and confirmed

It was cute at first - hell, it was cute for a long time - but at this point, Rarijack shipping is so overdone I’m sick of it.
