Two takes on the subtle horror of eating from shards of glass/ceramic.

Broken ceramic will spray invisible glass all over the food that can travel to your lungs, gut or brain. You can go instantly blind from a bloodborn shard hitting your optic nerve, bleed out through the intestines, microscopic dust will permanantly inflame your lungs, or even make your entire epidermis grow a cancerous layer.
