Commission for someone on DeviantArt ; Indigo Zap, Twilight Sparkle (Sci-Twi) and Sunny Flare are hiding from Principal Cinch. Apparently the pool seemed like as good a place as any. I think this might be an alternate continuity where Sci-Twi went back to Crystal Prep.
The perspective on this was both difficult and fun to work with. I’m still learning to be better about this sort of thing in general. Also, not sure if the underwater view works, but there you go.

I headcanon that there’s some kind of…magical? I guess? inspiration whenever parents go to name their little fillies/colts, like a preview of what may be their child’s talent or personality, and they can choose the baby’s name based on that. Or they can choose another name that has nothing to do with it, but more often than not, the parents chose something related to that magical inspiration. That’s just me, though.
Even in the pony universe, it seems arbitrary.
Sometimes I wonder about the parents of these characters and their name choices lol

Pinkie and Rainbow blind her with a mini party canon while Lemon Zest and Sugarcoat cover up the sound of the rescue with a giant speaker. AJ chucks them out of the pool, Fluttershy has Harry dry them off and Rarity cleans them up. Sunset and Sour Sweet coordinates the teams.

Rainbow Dash, Lemon Zest, Pinkie Pie and Sugarcoat run interference. Sunset, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy and Sour Sweet rescue them and cleans them up to look innocent.
