Oh jeez
From what I know they can’t even get a patch out to balance the last two characters.
Darn and worse of all I’m pretty sure there’s only three people working on the game
Yes, Modus demanded more characters under a short timespan and the crunch was not something most of the folks working on the game wanted to have to deal with since it didn’t happen until Modus was the publisher. So they made the Baku and the second Longma, but then when Modus wanted to crunch again to force more out of them, Mane6 said “Sorry, game is dead because we refuse to do anymore work on it under your thumb, so leave us alone.”
OOF
Bummer.
I believe them’s fightin’ herds got fucked by the publisher Ending development with story mode only getting one chapter
That’s good. Honestly, the Nintendo Online service has gotten better, but no matter what, you can’t please everyone, and some still judge it on one game…

Don’t quote me on this , but I do remember
Hearing about them putting more money in to online After the negative response to the nintendo online Subscription
Honestly, their online for some games like say Mario Kart, and Splatoon are pretty flawless. I even enjoyed Mario Party Superstars online without ever experiencing a single issue. So it’s not as bad as some say.
Yeah, sounds really messed up…
The problem is that they encouraged such behavior. We have power-tripping people who have fans just because they are good at a game and many believe the “godhood” the have thrust upon them. And then, they take advantage of it.
The problem is that it’s easy as all heck to ensure no one is being abused inside of EVO, but they don’t bother. They merely hold the event and have “apology” cards at the ready should something happen. Seriously, it was in the span of 5 minutes that EVO suddenly had a card to post to say they were cancelling, as if they knew it was happening but made no moves to stop it.
Now I don’t have any proof myself that that is the case… But there are some telling earmarks here and there that not everything was just “oh no, who could have guessed?!”
I’m not, and I’m not bashing TFH, or saying all it’s fans are pedos, or whatever…
It’s just ironic for people to laud EVO as such a big deal, and using it to bash one game, and try to make another look better (which is like schoolkids fighting over which Ninja Turtle is best) and this event proves it’s not a perfect event, nor that’s it’s important for a game to be in it. I just feel gaming events should unite, not divide, so I loathe the “SSBU VS TFH” crap.
If EVO continues, I hope they’re safer from now on for everybody, and the criminal activity is punished.

@Beau Skunky
I mean, if you wanna hold that as some sort of ‘moral highground’, note that a lot of Smash players were very recently outed as pedophiles.

Also, because of that now apparently the creators of TFH are pulling their game out of the EVO competition.
So now all that, “lol TFH got into EVO, and SSBU didn’t, TFH is the better game now!” smuggery from TFH fans is even more ironic.

That’s exactly how the Brony fanbase started back in the day. People trying it out, not expecting to like it, and then discovering that there’s actually a lot of good in it.
Indeed. Anyone who actually plays games has stressed how fluid the game is and how astoundingly well animated the characters are.
I’ve read/watched fighting game “experts” who have commented extremely positively on the tighteness of the game’s overall systems relative to other fighting games, more amused by the MLP connection, and only saddened by the small roster. Its the more common gamer that is taken the “hur hur its that mlp game, why should we care” attitude.
It’s a shame, some are still writing it off as a “MLP” game, but it seems it’s getting more positive feedback then negative.
