Description
As promised, i’ve wrote a simple and silly board game called Twiggie Quest, which is more or less a parody of Heroquest which uses the Twiggies instead of the regular heroes.
The Gargoyle in the image is not Scorpan, but a generic Gargoyle, since the original Heroquest also had one as antagonist.
For those interested, the rules are here https://velgarn.tumblr.com/TwiggieQuest since it should be tested (i’ve just wrote it but i had no time to play it).
Don’t mind the basic layout and the fact that i have to finish to draw ALL the monsters, it can be played easily. I’m also doing a file with the printable tokens for those who want that and the simple tokens for roll20

Nah, it’s not like the Asians invented unarmed combat: even the Ancient Greeks had various forms of unarmed combat such as the Pankration or similar forms of boxing, wrestling and such. Romans even invented the Cestus (or Caestus) by copying the greeks who had a similar thing, to use it to punch others in the face.

If you read the description, i’ve posted the link to the rules and each “twiggie” has a set of stats, equipment and a trait. the one shown here is the Brawler Twiggie which can’t use weapons but she gets an additional Attack Dice if she’s fighting against more than a monster at once. at first the name was Gladiator twiggie but then i simply changed the name in brawler, while keeping the design. Also Hunter is a feat a twiggie can obtain to get bonuses vs animals, insects and reptiles
I dunno what Twiggie that is, but it should be the “Hunter Twiggie” class.

My favourite are Vampire Killer and Bloody tears but i think i only ever played Simphony of the Night and Dawn of Sorrow

Yep. so far it has basic stuff, but if people like it and play it often i already have in mind more special rooms, monsters, Twiggies and also Bosses, other than mini-bosses. It’s also similar to how the old heroquest allowed to create your own adventure and dungeon
