I knew I forgot something…
Lies.
…Yeah, I’m gonna go ahead and take your word on that one.
Putting your arm up a horse’s ass can also be very dangerous, they have so much strength in those muscles that they can amputate your arm clean off.
But it seems they don’t just bite if you don’t give them a reason; I found it’s usually cuz of illness, discomfort, or infection.
That, and it doesn’t seem they’ll just bite you if you tried to put that chain thing that’s part of the bridle in their mouth. I once watched a vid of progress made on that in-mouth part, which used to be uncomfortable in the long run. I guess it’s also an individual thing.
So let that be a lesson to you, kids! Don’t put your hands in a horse’s mouth, even if you lost your keys in there! This has been a PSA from the Derpibooru Safety and Spaghetti Coalition.
A quick google revealed they exert 500psi, or 35.153479kg/cm², of biting force, so yeah, if they tried, your hand would be in trouble. It’s more than cougars or wolves, the latter of which biting just over 400psi.
By comparison, adult human exerts 162psi, which ain’t enough to munch up a hand, but multiply that by 4 times …
I couldn’t find definitive answers on how much human babies exert, but if you’ve ever let a baby bite your finger, you know it hurts.
Edited because: Added more text.
Makes sense. A horse is about five times the mass of a human, and their heads weigh close to a hundred pounds. They have huge, broad, flat teeth designed to mash up some pretty tough plant matter, with jaw muscles to match. They’d likely grind up your hand pretty quick if you put it in one’s mouth.
Not surprised she could bite those, they say a horse (dunno about ponies, but they probly exert even more force) could easily make nasty work of a human’s hand if they tried.
From what I understand, Lego tried making gummy candy versions of their bricks. I don’t know how long it took for them to be discontinued, but the gummy Legos were featured on a Mike Mozart video on YouTube.
