not really, uncanny valley is a measure of realism
when something reaches a certain level of realism, without being photo realistic, there is a sense of….disquiet the image tends to cause with the viewer, this is because the item looks so real that every tiny little thing thats wrong within it seems highlighted making the image appear…twisted in a way
that is the uncanny valley, cartoons tend to avoid this by not trying to be realistic
No, I’d say that them given human-like features is closer to uncanny valley than making them more realistic.

as i stated earlier…there is such a thing as ‘too’ realisitc.
As you may have noticed, despite resembling real ponies, the ponies of Equestria are shown to be able to do a great number of things of which real ponies are incapable, such as holding objects with their hooves, growing beards, or suntanning. With this in mind, an artist specializing in speculative xenobiology set about designing a creature which would be able to match all the physical characteristics and capabilities demonstrated in the show by Equestrian ponies if they were as real as real ponies. Examples of the end result are pictured above.
