Ah ok, that’s understandable. What I said wasn’t a knock on how overall your quality of work is cuz it’s very nicely done.
 
As ya said, tis be your first time drawing our core pones + bacon pone as pastel-colored humans and so you’re still learning to iron the kinks out on that. From the two latest previews that came out, there been improvements with the penciling, especially with more dynamic angles and posing and I honestly like those.

apple preview squashed the page a lot, and yes, it got better, that was literally first time I had drawn equestria girls, but I quickly picked it up from there. In about 5 pages I landed a comfortable style, sadly preview is about 3 pages.

Yeah, my reaction:  

The right one has very real human proportions which contrasts hard with the colors. They also still have mostly the same little cartoon noses which makes their faces extra flat and unnatural looking. It almost looks like rotoscope. They look high school kids from an 80’s movie, so really, young adults.
 
Meanwhile the left is trying to mix a little girl anime with the EqG style. So instead of looking like high schoolers they look almost pre-teen or like small high schoolers.
 
It’s a hell of a contrast. I definitely like the left-more (despite not liking anime) but if the right went even more realistic with the nose and bridge I would have liked it more. It would have looked really grounded and oddly realistic.

The second picture is freaking me(Rarity specially) it could be better if they were colored like real humans skins

The difference between the 2 rarity’s is abysmal, it’s like seen mother and daughter

tonyfleecs, i like your ponies, but your humans… not so much… not at all tbh  
but I hope you will improve!

Fleecs’ side definitely crawls towards the uncanny valley, especially the faces.

The noses just don’t look right IMO. Sunset’s expression just gives kind of a weird vibe.
 
I just get kind of an uncanny valley feel from the one on the right, likes its CLOSE, but the way its off gives it a weird unsettling vibe.

I think the art in both looks pretty good, but the ones on the right do look much older than they do in the series itself. Not bad by any means, but definitely different. The one on the left is just great and adorable all around though

Left side looks more kid friendly while the right one looks more where they are ready to strip out of their cloths and get ready to have an orgy.

Really, Rarity’s the only one that looks off in the second one. Everyone else looks mostly fine.
