star wars, Transformers, and mass effect all combined never came close to being worth as much money as the entire furry community as a whole, yet MLP made nearly twice as much, while they may forget, they will never forgive, simply because there will always be someone who still gives a shit, also, considering how the new mlp show is looking, i think it’s about to go down the same road that mass effect did.

Coming from 2021, the people who hate Twilicorn will eventually get over it like how everyone got over the Star Wars prequels when the sequels turned out to suck. The Mass Effect sequels still suck however, and time has only made them worse.

coming in from 2020, people still fucking hate Princess Twilight, and are now trying to brute force and make fallout equestria into the official canon next season of FIM.

We should’ve done by 2013, but considering the Great Splatoon Tantrum of 2017-2018, I doubt we’ll ever let this go.

At some point the question has to be asked what’s the line between a “tantrum” and rightly saying that something sucks?
 
Yes fandoms CAN be whiney, but the idea that this is ALWAYS unjustified is just as stupid as the idea it always valid. The ME3 ending for instance is indefeasible from an artistic, stylistic, or business perspective. It’s no accident that the ONLY argument defenders could come up with was “it’s there game so they can make it what they want and don’t have to change”, not that it was GOOD just that it was Biowares right to make and keep it shit.
 
When you stack that kind of attitude on top of the indisputable LIES (they said the choices would matter, they said there would be no ‘dues ex machine’ ending) then the outrage was ENTIRELY justified.
 
Notice a key point here though this occurred AFTER the game was out, AFTER it was played, and AFTER the god awful ending was known. No one besides trolls was really going into it ahead of time proclaiming it was going to suck and feature a ending that made the resolution in Revenge of the Sith look like fucking Shakespeare, and ruin by association almost the entire plot up to that point.
 
That’s why the whiners here are stupid they haven’t even SEEN it yet, but outrage and harsh criticism itself can’t be automatically dismissed if it comes in the wake of actually being given a really shitty product, and trust me if this IS done badly and is as awful as some think THEN you’ll see a TRUE shitstorm looks like.

All though Michael Bay sucks cock, I don’t really mind the whole Star Wars thing, Mass Effect 3 was awesome and Princess Twilight is so adorable that I’m starting to melt.
