Heheheh. Just kiddin’.
You and me both! I actually think Canterlock was so much better than Shygirl.
We’re not the only fanbase that does this, though. The backlash against Mass Effect 3’s ending was so huge that all of Bioware’s friends in the gaming media essentially called the fanbase a bunch of whiny bitches for hating it.
We have not started campaigns to Hasbro to change Twilight back (yet), and seeing as we have not filed complaints to the Better Business Beauru or the FTC, I’d say we have been fairly civil in expressing out collective anger thus far, at least as far as fanboys go.
And let’s not even get started on Star Wars…
@Background Pony
Yeah man, we were, or are. If nothing else, we’ve made more fan-content than anything else, ever. Barring religion.
No, but the real difference is HOW we roll with things that are thrown us. They tell us: “Twilight has a brother now”, and we make stories about the two growing up, etc. We don’t just complain about these things, we work with them.
What? Taking a calm, relaxed approach and not judging something before its episode premieres?
How is that bullshit?
what a load of bullshit
>implying we were ever different from other fandoms
@Background Pony
It’s not just the same for every fandom, it’s the same for everything but since we are on internet every messages we post is recorded when IRL what we say vanished with the wind.
When were we different from other fandoms again?
Off the scale should be reserved for one of the main characters PERMANENTLY dying.
Only ludicrous things should be off the scale.
I can’t really tell is Twilicorn should be off the scale tho… it’s kinda understandable since her being special was hinted for a long time but turning into a demigod is something you’d put at the end of the series.
We aren’t different.
