Discord forced four villains to work for him, empowered them to wreak havoc with the intent of sicking them on Equestria and let them take the fall for a crime he masterminded. That is not, nor will it ever be, the right place.  
and risking his life to make up for it by getting the heroes free.
 
Even if his plan weren’t completely nonsensical, he would be saving himself as much as everyone else. Further, it does nothing to atone for forcing the villains to work for him, fully intending to have them punished for his crime.

Equestria won’t give her another chance. We never saw the three during the future in The Last Problem other than that magazine with the statue on it. It’s safe to assume that Twilight made a vow never to release them and they were never unstoned.
 
Discord should’ve been turned to stone as well.

You can’t immagine the satisfaction of seeing Chrysalis doing this end to me. THAT FUCKING BITCH HUMILIATED THE MANE 6, RUINED THEIR REPUTATION IN THE ENTIRE FANDOM, AND WORST OF ALL, SHE RUINED SEVERAL OF MY ONLINE FRIENDSHIPS YEARS AGO, AND FOR THAT SHE MUST PAY.
