I didn’t get to kill you
Rhetoric, better look both ways
I gotta get an arm through
Which is pretty much what I meant
It depends on how they’re done actually.
In fairness neither 2D or 3D is automatically cheaper or more expensive than the other
Well, 2D digital, has to be redrawn, as well sometimes, even with the copy & paste assets.
And yeah, alot of shows lately tend to reuse character designs, even MLP is knda guilty, but at least they try to give the ponies alot of variety in hairstyles/eyes/outfits/color/pattern designs.
I think you’re confusing 2D was handdrawn. 3D assets may be reusable but they’re but they have to be made first and when rendering time can take ages. But I can imagine a LEGO show being cheaper as all minifigures use the same body
Bummer, though Chima was kinda cool too.
Apparently, CGI is cheaper then 2D, because CGI doesn’t need every animation frame redrawn, and such.
Edited
Another sad part about it from I’ve heard that reason it was cancelled is because cartoon Network thought that Lego’s legends of chima was similar to ThunderCats and because it was cheaper to produce they decided to focus on that

Oh yeah, ThunderLOLCats was great.
It’s actually a shame the Thundercats reboot didn’t last long, as it was surprisingly good.
For me, it was their best skit.
I mean, meme culture was spreading, and I liked how everyone was mad (pun intended) Lion-O was a meme lord seeking for the power of the internet.
There’s also that ThunderCats short that directly used memes
Alot of it’s references are pretty dated now, as that show was nearly a decade ago. (Spy VS Spy never gets old though.)
Even for their time they made some obscure references. I remember Bunnie Rabbot (from Sonic SatA.M.) appeared in the background of one parody.
Never actually saw the others show it was parodying
mad did kinda date itself in some places
Look up “MAD Eeyore Twilight,” or the “Adjustment Burro,” it’s a parody from the (now gone) MAD show that used to be on Cartoon Network. (Not to be confused with the SNL-style “MAD TV” show.)
The best thing about MAD’s Pony parodies was Tara Strong actually voiced for them.
I loved MAD.
