Tbh RD and AJ treat spike like big sisters more than twilight. Not to mention how protective they can be towards the little guy.
 
Like that one scene whenever spike fell down the stairs to the tree of harmony, it was really cute and touching to see AJ comforting him rather than just leaving him there in pain. And what about in dragon quest whenever RD and rarity were concerned about him being in such a dangerous place like dragon lands. And in spike at your service had one of my favorite scenes in the whole show, saving spike from timber wolves. And then there’s the scene where discord throws spike in to the nearly injuring him in the process and RD saves him from getting hurt. And then there’s this scene where she saves spike from getting crushed by a rock that garble just threw.
 
Now, just imagine if maud was in this. scene. She probably would’ve done a better job. And let’s not say that maud wouldn’t save him because if he’s friends with pinkie pie then I’m sure maud will consider him a friend too. Just not so enthusiastic.
 
But you guys get what I mean right?
