That isn’t aging. Didn’t the writers say she just woke up one morning looking like that and then panicked? So it’s like a transformation rather then aging.

I see no problem with that headcanon.Twilight scaling back the queen reign length from thousand of years to roughly a lifetime if anything will serve to make all those sad “Twilight will die alone by outliving everyone” theories a rest.They stayed vague enough on the subject to convince me that Twilight will absolutely not follow Celestia and Luna on whatever path to immortality/extra longevity they’re on and will age like her friends
