to me why Alicorn don’t die, is by the fact be Angel from heaven set and guild the mortal pony
 
If you are ignoring the books to say that Celestia, Luna, and Cadance (and maybe Flurry Heart) are angels who God granted the privilege of a long stay in the physical world then that agrees with my fanon. Since Angels are NOT dead people, Twilight can’t be one.

Maybe…but from what mastereraser said, was that twilight did something (like a spell I guess) and allow applebloom visit her parents in pony heaven. And her friends decided to follow her
